The importance of the Permian Basin to U.S. oil production spans generations, and since 1926 the West Texas Geological Society has been chronicling its history and the evolution of our scientific understanding of the basin.

Uploads of content from our existing publishing partners to the Datapages Archives continue. Since July 1 through the end of October, we’ve added:

  • 37 articles from the AAPG Bulletin
  • 232 URTeC 2023 abstracts
  • 13 articles between SEPM’s two journals in the Archives, PALAIOS and the Journal of Sedimentary Research
  • 31 articles from GeoExpro
  • 61 articles from TSOP
  • 33 articles from Oil-Industry History
  • 126 articles from APPEA
  • 2 articles from the Mountain Geologist by RMAG
  • The 2023 proceedings of the Indonesian Petroleum Association
  • 8 articles by the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia, and
  • 2 articles in the Bulletin of Canadian Energy Geoscience

Datapages provides pay-per-view access to all of the Archives content, and AAPG members have the opportunity to subscribe to a modified version of the Datapages Archives at a special price. Please contact AAPG’s customer experience team ([email protected]) for more details.

Digital Exploration Objects (DEO) is Datapages’ map-based search, and we’ve recently added content from APPEA, including 787 georectified maps and 502 geolocated sections.

If you and your company are interested in subscribing to the Datapages Archives and DEO, please reach out to our Datapages team at datapages.com/subscription-information.
