Research

At the bottom of the navigation bar is Data Systems and Library Resources.

Data Systems takes you into the customized searches (password dependent) provided through AAPG Datapages.

  • No password or a password without subscription lets you search the past three months of BULLETIN articles and recent meeting abstracts.

  • Password with subscription gives you access to all BULLETINs and meeting abstracts.

  • A corporate password gives you access to all of the above and all AAPG publications.

The Library Resources transports you to the research sources used by the AAPG Energy Resources Library. Here you can find books kept in AAPG's Library and use them as contacts for assistance.

The AAPG librarians also may be reached through e-mail at [email protected].

Member Services

Services is a good place to start when looking to apply for membership or needing information about AAPG.

(Soon a form will be online to help you change your address.)

For now, simply "contact us" at the top of the home page. This link will bring up a "Talk to Us" form that allows you to state your need, your question, etc., and it will be directed to the appropriate source.

At the bottom of every Web page is four links.

  • AAPG Home takes you back to the beginning home page.

  • Talk to AAPG takes you to above-mentioned "Talk to Us" form.

  • Feedback launches an e-mail pre-addressed to the Web site editor to allow you to comment or ask questions about the content of that particular page.

  • Site problems launches an e-mail pre-addressed to the Webmaster to report difficulties encountered with pages, e.g. PDF files that are corrupted, graphics not viewing, pages not being found, links missing, etc.

Those who have visited AAPG's Web site and used these above links already have contributed to the site you see today. With the feedback and input from those who have browsed our site we can develop a tool useful not only to AAPG membership, but to anyone with a geoscience interest.
