The societies with the most new applications are Houston, followed by Tulsa, RMAG and Dallas. The international region with the most new applications is the Asia/Pacific, followed by Latin America. The contest ends on May 30.

Don’t delay. Contact your representative and organize your society’s recruiting efforts together. The top individual recruiter award is a trip to next year’s AAPG international meeting in Cancun, Mexico. There are six monetary awards to the top three U.S. societies and top three international regions: $1,250 for first place, $1,000 for second and $500 for third.

Remember, points are given not only for new applicants but for reinstatement of former memberships — and even for name referrals in groups of five.
