Two new departmental directors have been
announced for AAPG.

named the new outreach director, and David E. Lange was named

Permian in Midland, Texas, assumes a new position at AAPG, which
includes direction of the convention department and international
and domestic outreach responsibilities.
As business director, Lange directs the accounting,

Texas Digital, working in that capacity until joining Arco Permian
in 1995.
A certified petroleum geologist, Cunningham joined
AAPG in 1977. AAPG activities include numerous activities with the
House of Delegates, including being elected chairman of the House
in 1989-90, and as such served on the AAPG Executive Committee.
She also has performed numerous society and Section activities,
and was elected president of the West Texas Geological Society,
president of the Permian Basin Section SEPM and secretary of the
AAPG Southwest Section. She also served as elected secretary of
the AAPG Division of Professional Affairs.
She received the AAPG Distinguished Service award
in 1995 and Honorary Membership in 2000.
