In case you missed it, AAPG’s most recent Energy Insights podcast features Erick Devine in his portrayal of one of the most revered geologists and explorationists, Wallace E. Pratt, with an introduction and commentary by AAPG’s Administration and Programs director, Vern Stefanic.
Devine, a professional actor who has appeared on television, the Broadway stage and film, performed in character as Pratt at the DPA Luncheon at the 2017 Annual Convention and Exhibition in Houston. Clips from that event, photos of Pratt and a clip of Cindy Yeilding from the AAPG documentary, “Rock Stars: Pioneering Women in Petroleum Geology,” are also included in the video version of the podcast. This podcast is the eighth in the series, with more podcasts in production.
