Officer candidates have been announced for the 2020-21 AAPG Executive Committee – a slate that will include voting for three offices, including president-elect.
The person elected president-elect will serve in that capacity for one year and then will be AAPG president for 2021-22. The terms for the vice president-Sections and treasurer posts are 2020-22.
Complete biographical information and video interviews with all the candidates will be available on the website in March.
Also, printed material will be inserted in the March EXPLORER that provides biographical information for all candidates, as well as their responses to the statement, “Why I accepted the invitation to be a candidate for an AAPG office.”
Ballots will be mailed in the spring.

President-Elect
- Gretchen Gillis, Aramco, Houston.
- Susan Morrice, Belize Natural Energy Ltd., Greenwood Village, Colo.
Vice President – Sections
- Linda Sternbach, Star Creek Energy, Katy, Texas.
- Robert Webster, Webster Geoscience, Irving, Texas.
Treasurer
- David Blanchard, WTM Energy Inc., Houston.
- Denise Stone, independent consultant, Centennial, Colo.
