AAPG offers a special benefit for members who are 65 years of age or older and have 30 or more years of cumulative membership: You can request to be reclassified as an Emeritus Member.
Benefits of Emeritus status, in addition to the recognition for your longevity within AAPG, include:
- Your annual membership dues are reduced by 50 percent.
- You save 50 percent on IMAGE and ICE meeting registration fees, both for yourself and your spouse/guest.
- For those who are certified in any specialty within the Division of Professional Affairs, certification dues also will be reduced by 50 percent (maximum of two specialty reductions allowed).
Please note, this reclassification doesn’t automatically occur – in accordance with Association bylaws, members must request this change.
